Who is Russ Cline

Russ Cline was born in Los Angeles, and at 11 years old, moved to  Ecuador with his family. His parents served as missionaries. In 1982,  Russ attended Azusa Pacific University in Southern California, and it  was there he met his future wife, Regina. Russ studied Business  Administration and Religious Studies.

Preparing for graduate studies, Russ took a job as a part-time youth  pastor in Los Angeles, and it was there that God confirmed that Russ  was to do youth ministry. Russ and Gina served in 2 churches in Los Angeles over next 8 years.

In 1994, Russ and Gina responded to an opportunity to launch a Youth Ministry Training Center in Latin America, and in partnership with Youth Builders, the Youth World ministry was born.

Youth World International exists to identify, teach and equip leaders to impact young people and families to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Youth World has grown from a small youth ministry center in Ecuador to a multi-national, multi-faceted organization teaching, modeling and developing youth ministry throughout Latin America. Today over 45 team members, serving in 6 different areas of emphasis make up the Youth World Team in Ecuador.

Over the years with Youth World, Russ had the opportunity to train youth workers and leaders in: South Africa, Cuba, Ecuador, Bolivia, Zimbabwe, Guatemala, Eastern Europe, Britain and all over the United States. Russ identified a common trend among leaders around the world: they are stretched, on the verge of burnout, lonely and they need some help!

In 2006, Leader Mundial was born to help address this need.

Russ and Gina currently live in Quito, Ecuador and have 3 children:  Rheanna, 20 years old and a student at Azusa Pacific University; Riley, 17 years old and a junior in high school; Raylin, 13 years old and in 7th grade.

The Cline's love to travel as a family, they love the beach, and they enjoy being together!
